   1. Junior Beginner Golfer Level 1 - The Golf Swing Technique Development Lessons


The Junior Beginner Golfer Level 1 is a regular weekly one-hour group golf coaching lesson. The lessons are for a group of juniors to learn the golf swing skills together. Junior needs to attend weekly to build up the strong foundation for the golf swing skills and mastering the golf swing techniques. The golf teaching professional will be present to teach, motivate and impart the golf swing skills to the juniors. The junior's objective is to learn, develop and improve their: gross motor skill; visual perceptual motor skill and cognitive skill for the golf swing techniques. The lessons covered: safety for golf, aerobic exercises; golf swing; putting; chipping, sandbunker techniques. The mental skills are incorporated in the lessons for their active learning and development. The coach will conduct formative assessment during each lesson. There will be corrective feedback for each junior.

 Lesson 1.  The Golf Safety and Lesson Rules

The Golf Safety and Lesson Rules are the MOST IMPORTANT requirement for golf learning.

  1. Junior learns the importance of safety lines marked on the floor of the range.

  2. Junior learns the permitted area allowed at the range for their golf swing practices.

  3. Junior learns the required golf safety gears for golf lessons.

  4. Junior learns the correct golf attire for golf lessons.

  5. Junior learns the disciplines requirement during lessons.

  6. Junior learns to drink water for refreshment, no foods to be consumed during golf lesson.

  7. Junior learns basic social skills of communications with their golf coach and classmates.

  8. Junior learns the correct behaviours during golf lessons.

 Lesson 2.  The Golf Swing Static and Dynamic Exercises

The Golf Swing Static and Dynamic Exercises is the fundamental aerobic skills to condition the junior's body for the developing of the golf swing techniques.

  1. Junior learns the important requirement of warming up for golf-specific skills.

  2. Junior learn to perform their low intensity dynamic swing drills to facilitate their golf swing technique performance.

  3. Junior learns the correct postural stability for the golf swing technique.

  4. Junior learns the correct dynamic postural balance for golf swing technique performance.

  5. Junior learns the correct shoulders rotation for the golf swing technique.

  6. Junior learns the correct body movement patterns for golf swing technique.

  7. Junior learns the body agility, flexibility and mobility for the dynamic golf swing motion.

Lesson 3.  The Golf Swing Technique's Posture

The Golf Swing Technique Posture is a preliminary movement required for all golf swings techniques.

  1. Junior learns what is a correct 'Address Position' for golf swing skills?

  3. Junior learns the correct spine tilting angle.

  4. Junior learns the correct knee bending position.

  5. Junior learns the correct body weight distribution on the feet at Address Position.

  6. Junior learns how to hold the club correctly with the correct fingers tension.

  7. Junior learns the correct position of the arms, golf clubface and golf ball at Address Position.

  8. Junior learns the skills of relaxation and concentration on how to prepare for a golf swing technique.

Lesson 4.  The Golf Arm-swing Technique (low intensity)

The Golf Arm-swing Technique is an essential golf swing skill for junior to develop the basic motor skills required for a golf swing technique.

  2. Junior learns the correct follow-through swing action for the golf arm-swing technique.

  3. Junior learns the correct wrists flexion and extension movements for the golf arm-swing movement.

The Golf Full-arm Swing Technique is an essential golf swing skill for junior to hit the ball accurately within their physical and athletic ability.

  2. Junior learns the correct follow-through swing action for the golf full-arm swing technique.

  3. Junior learns the correct wrists flexion and extension movements for the golf full-arm golf swing movement.

The Golf Iron Full-Swing Technique is an important golf swing skill for junior to hit the ball to farthest distance accurately within their physical and athletic ability.

  1. Junior learns the golf full-swing technique of golf swing action.

  2. Junior learns the golf physiology on the golf full-swing technique.

  3. Junior learns the correct backswing, downswing, follow-through swing and finish-swing for the golf full-swing action.

  4. Junior learns the correct shoulder rotation for golf full-swing action.

  5. Junior learns the golf full-swing body muscles group usage.

  6. Junior learns the correct finish golf swing posture.

  7. Junior learns and understands the tempo, rhythm and timing of the golf swing action.

Lesson 7.  The Golf Putting Swing Technique

The Golf Putting Swing Technique is for the junior to hit and roll the ball into the hole on the putting green.

  1. Junior learns and understands the application of the golf putting shot performance.

  2. Junior learns the correct golf posture setup for the golf putting technique.

  3. Junior learns how to hold the putter correctly for the golf putting technique.

  4. Junior learns the correct the arms and hands position at Address Position.

  5. Junior learns the correct golf ball and putter clubface positions for the golf putting technique.

  6. Junior learns the single stroke pendulum swing movement.

  7. Junior learns the backswing (take away), downswing and follow through of an efficient putting stroke.

Lesson 8.  The Golf Chipping and Pitching Swing Technique

The Golf Chipping Swing Technique is for the junior to chip the golf ball to stop near to the hole on the putting green
 (Usually the ball is played just outside the putting green).

  1. Junior learns and understands the application of golf chipping and pitching shot performances.

  2. Junior learns to how to describe a chipping and pitching shot performance for the golf game.

  3. Junior learns the condition and standard of performance required for the golf chipping and pitching techniques.

  4. Junior learns what Visualization is in golf psychology and the application for the correct golf chipping and pitching shot performance.

  5. Junior learns the importance of posture setup of the body to facilitate the golf chipping technique.

  6. Junior learns the correct golf ball position for perfect impact by the clubface.

  7. Junior learns the correct lower and upper body movement for the golf chipping and pitching techniques.

The Golf Greenside Sandbunker Swing Technique is to challenge the junior shot-making proficiency
 (The ball is plays on the sand).

  1. Junior learns and understands the application of the golf sandbunker shot performance.

  2. Junior learns the condition and standard of performance required for the golf sandbunker swing technique.

  3. Junior learns what Visualization is in golf psychology and the application for the correct golf sandbunker shot performance.

  4. Junior learns the correct golf posture setup for the golf sandbunker swing technique.

  5. Junior learns the vital golf ball position at Address Position.

  6. Junior learns the Dynamic Postural Stability when playing the golf ball on the sand. Why is it important to know?

  5. Learning to take responsibility of their golf swing technique performance.

  6. Coping with their mental and physical challenges of repeating good shots performance.

  7. Self-evaluation of their intrinsic and extrinsic feedback of their golf swing technique and ball flight performance.

  8. Self-assessment and evaluation of their swing skills and ball flight performance.

  9. Self-evaluation of their learning progress. Why is it importance to know?

Junior Beginner Golfer Level 1 regular lessons require repetition of golf swing knowledge, skill and attitude instructions. We provide constant guidance, supervision, feedback and opportunity for the Juniors to perform their golf swing technique as proficient as they should be. Juniors are to perform all the golf swing skills within their physical and athlete ability.

Adult may takes many months to master all the golf swing techniques. Our primary goal for the Junior golf swing technique learning lessons is to achieve the sense of accomplishment of being able to hit the golf ball efficiently. The distance of the ball flight performance is a secondary goal base on the individual physical and athletic ability performance.

There will be golf swing proficiency test to assess and measure individual attitude and aptitude during the lessons. The performance progress will be feedback to parents.

   New golf Junior :





 
New Junior who is joining this regular group golf lesson is required to have a one time one-to-one 45 minutes golf assessment lesson by the Teaching Professional. This lesson is for the junior to learn: golf safety rules; lesson rules; the golf posture setup; how to hold the golf club; basic swing skills; experience the lesson's requirement. We need the junior to acknowledge that he or she will like to learn and play golf before joining the group lessons. The fee for this one time private lesson is $90.00 per junior.

 

 Program Fee and Payment


  Program Fee:




 

$140.00 per month for four (4) weekend lessons per junior
. If there is five (5) weekends in the month
the program fee is $175.00 per junior.

Lesson fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in any event that the junior could not complete
all the lessons within a month. There will be no make-up lesson for junior who missed lessons.

Advance monthly payment in cash, cheque or internet banking transfer only.
 

 Equipment and Practice range balls


  Equipment:

 

A #7 iron and putter golf clubs is provided for the first 8 lessons only. Junior is required to purchase their golf equipment.
Junior is required to wear golf glove for their lessons.
 
  Practice golf ball:



 
Junior is required to purchase the practice range golf balls for their golf swing technique practices. The purchase is by electronic card system from the ball dispenser machine.

We will provide F.O.C. practice golf balls for putting, chipping and sandbunker lessons only.

Parent of Junior is required to fill in a Junior Information Form for our recording of their particulars, previous sport history, medical conditions and any important information that parent think is essential for the Teaching Professional to know.

Parent is required to sign the Letter of Indemnity before the start of Junior regular golf lesson.

Parent to send and fetch their Junior on time.

Junior is required come in golf attire. Golf shoe (proper sport shoe is allowed), collar T-shirt and proper short or pant.

Junior must has their water for refreshment.

Strictly no foods and snack to be consumed during the lesson.

We will focus on the junior discipline, learning effort, skill excellence and enjoyment.

We provide and ensure a safe environment during the lesson.

Junior must be in good health, fitness and follows golf safety instructions during golf lessons.
Junior who
DOES NOT follow safety instructions will be stopped immediately from their golf swing practice. (This include excessive of swinging the golf club during lessons that may cause blisters on the hands or fingers).

Junior is required to wear golf glove, golf shoe or proper sport shoe.

In the event of inclement weather the lesson will be conducted at the sheltered practice range.
